Send Help is a 2026 horror/comedy directed by Sam Raimi of acclaimed Evil Dead and Drag Me To Hell fame. The soundtrack was gruesomely orchestrated by Danny Elfman. The story follows Linda Liddle a very hard working office worker who is next in line for a vice president position in her company. Linda Liddle is played by Rachel Mcadams and her crazed boss Bradley who is played by Dylan O'brien.
On a company trip to Bangkok the plane crashes and only Linda and her boss survive. Bradley has belittled Linda from the moment he met her but now he is stuck on a remote island with her. Linda who is obsessive about the tv show survivor has a few tricks up her sleeve among survival skills. Bradley ends up driving well behaved Linda into a corner where she loses her sense of self and will do anything that she can to survive and also to live her dream of being lost out at sea.
You want gore? Sam Raimi delivers it! You want campy horror? He delivers that also! Linda and Bradley are absolutely unhinged and deranged, which made me love every second of the film. There wasn't a moment where I felt bored and there were always unexpected things happening. Yet there were also expected things happening which I didn't mind. I love Sam Raimi's work so much because it is easily defined. He puts his signature on everything that he makes. There were even some Evil Dead Easter eggs thrown in which did not surprise me. They in fact delighted me.
Would I watch this again? Hell fucking yeah! I have already seen it twice. Once with my parents, which was probably a mistake (if you know what I mean) and the last time I saw it was with my husband.
This is the kind of movie where you want to have your friends over, to have a horror night.
Pop that popcorn and sprinkle those M&m's on top of it, drink your soda, and just enjoy!

¿Quieres sangre? ¡Sam Raimi la tiene! ¿Quieres terror con toques de humor negro? ¡También! Linda y Bradley están completamente desquiciados y perturbados, lo que hizo que disfrutara cada segundo de la película. No hubo un solo momento en el que me aburriera y siempre ocurrían cosas inesperadas. Aunque también sucedían cosas predecibles, lo cual no me molestó.
Me encanta el trabajo de Sam Raimi porque es fácil de definir. Deja su sello personal en todo lo que hace. Incluso había algunos guiños a Evil Dead que no me sorprendieron. De hecho, me encantaron.
¿La volvería a ver? ¡Por supuesto! Ya la he visto dos veces. Una vez con mis padres, que probablemente fue un error (si me entiendes), y la última vez fue con mi esposo.
Esta es la clase de película que debes de ver con tus amistades en una noche de terror.
¡Prepara las palomitas y espolvorea los M&M's por encima, bebe tu refresco y simplemente disfruta!
